- Super Smash Bros. series is out, as it has its own list.

Row # Title Image Description
1 Donkey Kong Donkey Kong Donkey Kong is an arcade game released by Nintendo in 1981. It is an early example of the platform game genre, as the gameplay focuses on maneuvering the main character across a series of platforms while dodging and jumping over obstacles. In the game, Mario (originally named Mr. Video and then Jumpman) must rescue a damsel in distress named Pauline (originally named Lady), from a giant ape named Donkey Kong. The hero and ape later became two of Nintendo's most popular and recognizable characters.
2 Donkey Kong Jr. Donkey Kong Jr. Donkey Kong Jr., also spelled Donkey Kong Junior in early arcade releases and home ports, is an 1982 arcade game starring Donkey Kong Jr. It's the only games in the Mario franchise where Mario (previously known as Jumpman) is the antagonist.
3 Donkey Kong Donkey Kong
It is a dual-screen Game & Watch version of the classic arcade game Donkey Kong.
4 Donkey Kong Jr. Donkey Kong Jr.
It is a Game & Watch edition of Donkey Kong Jr. As in the original arcade game, Donkey Kong is captured by Mario, and Donkey Kong Jr. must save him. There are two major revisions - the original version in the New Wide Screen series, and the colorized game in the Table Top and Panorama Screen series released the following year with an entirely different level and obstacle layout.
5 Mario Bros. Mario Bros. It's a title for Game & Watch, totally different from the arcade hit released a few months later. The game is released in the book-shaped Multi-Screen model. It is the first exact game that calls the main character (previously known as Jumpman) Mario.
6 Mario Bros. Mario Bros.
A game that released on arcades and home consoles, starting from July 1983. This puzzle platformer is the first game that shows Mario's job as a plumber.
7 Donkey Kong II Donkey Kong II Donkey Kong II is a multi-screen Game & Watch game released on March 7, 1983. It is an indirect sequel to the Donkey Kong Jr. Game & Watch game and a direct follow-up to Donkey Kong. While Donkey Kong Jr. is based on the first level of the arcade game of the same name, Donkey Kong II appears to be based on the third and fourth levels.
8 Mario's Cement Factory Mario's Cement Factory
It is a Game & Watch game. Two versions of the game were produced: the first was for the Game & Watch Table Top released on April 28, 1983, and the second was a more conventional New Wide Screen Game & Watch that was released on June 16, 1983. The Table Top game resembles an arcade cabinet, and it is more colorful than the Wide Screen game. In both versions, Mario's mission in the cement factory is to open doors to prevent cement containers from overflowing. To get to the different containers, Mario has to jump on moving platforms.
9 Mario's Bombs Away Mario's Bombs Away It is a game for the Game & Watch released on November 10, 1983. It was one of the six games made for the Panorama line. The game shows Mario as a soldier (of Vietnam War, probably - due to the game's aesthetics) and must keep his bomb away from their torches.
