A free program for creating PDFs from various applications on a computer. PrimoPDF appears as a printer in print options, where selecting it would result in the creation of a PDF (rather than printing off the document). PrimoPDF also allows users to drag-and-drop files to be converted into PDFs. It has various options for the PDF e.g. password, description, author etc.
2. doPDF
A free program for converting printable files into PDFs. They can be converted either by printing to PDF (where doPDF appears as a virtual printer in the print options) or by using the doPDF startup window (where it is loaded as a conventional program, and has a conversion wizard).
3. doc2pdf
A free downloadable Word to PDF / PDF to Word converter. It can also convert Excel and PowerPoint files to PDFs, and convert PowerPoint files to Flash program files.
4. Weeny Software - Free Word to PDF Converter
Free PDF conversion software to batch convert Word (doc or docx) documents to PDFs. It can also convert different file formats including RTF, txt and HTM to PDF, and can add watermarks, passwords, restrictions, and information such as the title, subject, author or keywords to the output PDF documents.
6. FromDocToPDF Toolbar A web browser toolbar for converting PDFs to document and image files and vice versa.
